“Overall a flat day. It started nice with a warm welcome, smart staff and a nice souvenir bag with snacks and booklet in. Unbeknownst to us this activity had changed its description with no notification to us to announce the Steam loco pictured is now broken and no longer in use. We were happy with the alternative until this loco broke down not far from Papar delaying things for over 1 hour. It turns out that this Diesel loco is now their only engine left to perform the journey with no backup. We were limped to Papar by a local shunter where we were told there would be no return…”
